Teaching Opportunity

Opogo Education is seeking an experienced History Teacher for a long-term position at a secondary school in Oldham. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives and contribute to the development of a comprehensive History curriculum.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging History lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Foster a deep understanding of historical events and critical thinking skills in students.

  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations, ensuring they achieve their academic potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and departmental goals.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching History at Key Stages 3 and 4 in a UK secondary school.
  • Strong subject knowledge with the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and student success.

Average Salary: £200 per day
