Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group. As a Senior Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our occupational therapy services and making a significant impact on the lives of children and young adults with neurodiverse needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and create personalized therapy programs tailored to each pupil's unique needs
  • Work collaboratively with our integrated therapy team to deliver the highest standard of care and support to our pupils
  • Design and deliver specific training and mentoring for colleagues to further develop the Occupational Therapy offering within our specialist college
  • Take a Neurodiverse affirming and trauma-informed approach to clinical work, working within a small caseload of pupils who have neurodiverse needs
Requirements
  • A recognised post-graduate qualification in Occupational Therapy with an essential qualification in Sensory Integration and Processing
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist with RCOT Membership
  • Good IT skills, with a working understanding of using Microsoft packages like Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • A full driving licence
