**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Production Team Leader to join our team at JT Recruit. As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing our production operations, enhancing productivity, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and leading a team to achieve manufacturing excellence.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Supervise and Lead a Team:** Supervise and lead a team of manufacturing personnel in a high-volume production environment.
- **Conduct Regular Team Meetings:** Conducting regular team meetings to communicate targets and ensure team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
- **Coordinate with Other Departments:** Coordinate with other departments to meet production targets and maintain seamless operations.
- **Monitor Production Standards:** Monitor production standards and quality control measures to ensure compliance with company standards.
- **Ensure Team Members Follow Procedures:** Ensure that team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements.
- **Handle Conflict Resolution:** Handle conflict resolution and perform problem-solving as necessary.
- **Support Training and Development:** Support the training of new team members and ensure that all team members are competent in their roles.
- **Implement Continuous Improvement:** Implement and support continuous improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency and safety.
- **Maintain Accurate Records:** Ensure all manufacturing records are completed appropriately and accurately.
- **Escalate Quality Concerns:** Ensure the escalation procedure for quality concerns are followed.
- **Enforce Safety Guidelines:** Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.
- **Manage Attendance and Employee Issues:** Manage the operators attendance, employee related issues, 121s, and performance reviews.
- **Identify Areas for Improvement:** Identify areas for improvement and initiate projects aimed at lowering costs and improving quality.
**Key Competencies:**
- **Strong Understanding of Manufacturing Processes:** Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality systems.
- **Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills:** Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- **Proficient in MS and Manufacturing Management Software:** Proficient in MS and any relevant manufacturing management software.
- **Strong Problem-Solving Skills:** Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.
- **Leadership and Team Management:** Leadership and team management skills.
**Skills and Knowledge:**
- **Manufacturing Background:** Manufacturing background.
- **Previous Experience as a People Leader:** Previous experience of a People Leader in a manufacturing environment.
- **Knowledge of GP MRP/ERP System:** Knowledge of the GP MRP/ERP System or a similar system.
