We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Assistant to support a fully blind, autistic composer and trainee psychotherapist in their daily life. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to notice and respond to others' feelings, as well as a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation and planning
- Accompany the individual to locations outside of their home, including historical sites and off-road areas
- Manage administrative tasks, such as making phone calls and responding to emails
- Support the individual in accessing resources, such as books and articles, and finding relevant information quickly
Requirements:
- Driving license and willingness to drive
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Mature and able to notice and respond to others' feelings
- Able to handle sensitive information appropriately and respect confidentiality
Desirable Qualifications:
- University education
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in reading music
