Job Title: Live-in Care / Lifestyle Assistant for a Uni Maths Student in Cambridge

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Live-in Care / Lifestyle Assistant for a university student with physical disability in Cambridge.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work with a student who requires personal, academic, and social support. As a Live-in Care / Lifestyle Assistant, you will provide assistance with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores. You will also support the student with their academic and social activities, including attending classes, participating in clubs and societies, and engaging in leisure activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to the student, including assistance with mobility, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with meal preparation and household chores
  • Support the student with their academic activities, including attending classes and participating in online learning
  • Encourage the student to engage in social activities, including clubs and societies
  • Assist with emergency evacuations in halls, if the situation arises, as instructed by the halls manager
  • Maintain good order, appearance, and behaviour

About You:

We are looking for a person with a good sense of humour, who is physically fit, calm, patient, and caring. You will possess great organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. A mature and responsible attitude, great communication skills, and fluency in English are essential. You will also be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
