Job Summary

We are looking for a confident and customer-focused individual to provide administrative support to our patients and staff. As a Receptionist/Telephonist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, handling phone calls, emails, and face-to-face interactions with a high level of professionalism and courtesy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage phone calls, emails, and face-to-face interactions, ensuring accurate and efficient communication.
  • Process patient appointments, bookings, and cancellations, maintaining accurate records and updating patient information as required.
  • Handle patient queries, providing information and support as needed, and escalating complex issues to senior staff members.
  • Work collaboratively with the Reception Lead and other team members to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Reception area.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.

Person Specification

  • Essential
    • A basic standard of education to secondary school level.
    • Knowledge of confidentiality and its application.
  • Desirable
    • A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent.
    • Involvement in activities which involve teamwork and social interaction with people.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have a basic standard of education to secondary school level and knowledge of confidentiality and its application. A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent and involvement in activities which involve teamwork and social interaction with people are desirable.
