The Executive Director will play a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects of the businesses, including safeguarding, personnel management, strategic decision-making, business development, finance, and administration. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dual location education company, ensuring seamless delivery of services and programs.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Manage personnel, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation, to ensure a high-performing team.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including safeguarding and data protection.
- Collaborate with the husband-and-wife team to drive business development, finance, and administration.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in education or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
- Proven track record of business development, strategic planning, and financial management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a keen entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Must be able to travel and divide time between the Bristol and Exeter centres.
