About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrator to join our team at Barchester Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient running of our care homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a Positive Environment: Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Manage Enquiries and Showrounds: Coordinate showrounds for prospective families and manage the customer database to support commercial performance.
  • Drive Occupancy and Reputation: Contribute to community engagement efforts to enhance the reputation of our care homes.
  • Support Resident and Family Feedback: Focus on customer care and provide support for resident and family feedback.
  • Recruitment and Payroll: Assist with recruitment, complete employment new starter checks, and prepare payroll for home-based staff.
  • HR Support: Provide advice and guidance to employees on HR-related queries.
  • Administrative Tasks: Ensure personal files are stored securely, attend meetings, and produce accurate notes and minutes.
  • Rotas and Accounts: Manage rotas, petty cash, and resident fund accounts.
  • Staff Development: Offer guidance on staff development opportunities, including signposting to apprenticeships and qualifications.
Requirements
  • Customer-Facing Experience: Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
  • HR Administration: Previous involvement in HR administration and recruitment.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient user of Microsoft, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
