We are looking for a highly experienced Development Manager to join our team at the Turner & Townsend Group. As a key member of our development management team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering development projects from inception to completion.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Development Manager to lead and manage complex development projects in London and major cities across the UK. You will be responsible for:

  • Securing new business opportunities through networking and business development initiatives;
  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and other parties to identify project requirements and develop innovative solutions;
  • Managing multidisciplinary design teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors;
  • Preparing and managing project budgets, schedules, and resources;
  • Collaborating with internal teams to provide comprehensive development management services;

You will have extensive experience in development management, a strong track record of leading complex projects, and excellent commercial and negotiation skills.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant post-qualification experience in property development or a leading property consultancy;
  • A depth of expertise in development management, combining knowledge of the property market with technical and leadership skills;
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other parties;
  • A strong understanding of the commercial and residential sectors in London and major cities across the UK;

The estimated salary range for this role is between £100,000 and £140,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
