Air Conditioning Technical Services Manager

As a Technical Services Manager - Air Conditioning, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Gleeson, a fast-growing national home builder. About the Role:
As a member of the Regional senior leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the Architectural, Engineering and Design/Planning activities of the region. This will include:
- Assisting in the evaluation and appraisal of development opportunities and providing information required to purchase land.
- Advising on and securing planning approvals, delivering and reporting as per Group policies and processes to meet the Region's business plan.
- Managing external planning, architectural and engineering consultants to ensure that all design information is received, coordinated and distributed on time and within budget.
- Progressing initial communications with technical specialist suppliers and contractors, supporting the procurement department through the procurement process.
- Providing the RMD and Land Director with operational and tactical planning reports and assessments, presenting clear and reasoned planning advice in terms of potential risks/opportunities and likely planning gain requirements.
About You:
We are looking for a candidate with a relevant qualification and/or broad experience in Technical/planning with an Engineering focus. You should have good strong knowledge of the full development/Technical process/Commercial awareness, as well as broad knowledge of the legal frameworks associated with planning management and development procurement. Previous experience as either a project or discipline manager within a development organisation is essential. You should be flexible and adaptable to changing requirements, and technically competent in using AutoCAD.
