Job Title: Air Conditioning Technical Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Technical Services Manager to join our team at Gleeson Homes. As a key member of our Technical Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our air conditioning projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of air conditioning activities, from initial land appraisal to final adoption of a development.
  • Work closely with the Technical Director, Technical & Commercial team, and wider business to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Assist in the evaluation and appraisal of development opportunities and provide information required to purchase land.
  • Advise on and secure planning approvals, delivering and reporting as per Group policies and processes to meet the Region's business plan.
  • Manage external planning, architectural, and engineering consultants to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery of design information.
  • Progress initial communications with technical specialist suppliers and contractors, supporting the procurement department through the procurement process.
  • Provide operational and tactical planning reports and assessments to the RMD and Land Director, presenting clear and reasoned planning advice on potential risks, opportunities, and planning gain requirements.
Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification and/or broad experience in Technical/planning with an Engineering focus.
  • Strong knowledge of the full development/Technical process and commercial awareness.
  • Broad knowledge of the legal frameworks associated with planning management and development procurement.
  • Previous experience as either a project or discipline manager within a development organization.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements.
  • Technically competent in using AutoCAD.
