Type of contract: permanent

Hybrid model: the presence in the office for a minimum of 2 days/week is required

The team

We are looking for a motivated new colleague, with a passion for Brazilian football with strong focus on betting who can demonstrate critical thinking and has good communication skills to join our competitive international team in the football department.

You will become part of the football group within Kambi and you will be responsible for compiling and trading odds for a wide range of football events. You will receive comprehensive training on our products and services as well as our different tools. As well as compiling/trading odds, the successful candidate will be expected to communicate effectively to share information with various teams, providing feedback on models and tools as well as being across competitive intelligence on the Brazilian sports betting landscape. Your primary goal will be to deliver a market leading football product to the Kambi network by working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

The position is full time and can be based in any of our office locations around the world.

As a Brazilian Football Expert your day-to-day work will look like:

  • Being responsible for pricing, trading and product development on all Brazilian football competitions.
  • Compiling and trading odds related to other football events using mathematical models as well as relevant football and market knowledge.
  • Analysing and monitoring risk on different football markets.
  • Communicating effectively with the different departments within Kambi and its clients.
  • Delivering the best user experience for customers.

You'll be a great fit for the role, if you have:

  • Excellent knowledge of Brazilian football.
  • Strong numerical ability regarding probabilities and distributions.
  • Significant experience with betting on football markets.
  • Understanding of Brazilian sports betting landscape and future evolution.
  • Ability to work accurately with great attention to detail.
  • Must be fluent in English, written and spoken. Brazilian language skills a preference rather than a requirement.
  • High Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • Willingness to work on evening and weekends, particularly to be flexible to the Brazilian football schedule.
  • A university degree, preferably in an analytical field such as mathematics or statistics.
  • High level of communication and presenting skills
  • Experience of external facing communication
  • Driven to produce market leading standards and able to work under pressure
  • Highly competitive mindset.
