Human Resources and Payroll Specialist

DCT Recruitment Careers is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources and Payroll Officer to join our client's team in the Shotton Paper Mill Project. This is a temp to perm contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK employment laws.
- Maintain employee records and update HR databases, providing timely and efficient support to the team.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures, offering guidance and support.
- Support the implementation of HR programs, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
- Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and presentations, showcasing expertise in HR and payroll management.
- Assist in preparing contracts, proposals, and other documents, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
- Support recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment laws, maintaining a proactive approach to regulatory requirements.
- Manage office supplies and maintain the office environment, promoting a positive and productive work space.
- Support daily administrative tasks, including office management, visitor pass requests, visitor inductions, and daily timesheets.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments, demonstrating excellent time-management skills.
- Manage administrative service agreements, including car rentals, hotel bookings, and travel arrangements.
- Proven experience as a Human Resources Officer, Payroll Officer, or similar role.
- Knowledge of HR functions, processes, and best practices, with a strong understanding of UK employment laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with proficiency in MS Office and excellent Excel knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
