Social Worker Children's Disability Team

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our team in the Children's Disability Team. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a statutory Children's Social Care setting and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the framework of The 1989 Children Act, Adoption and Children Act 2002, and other relevant legislations.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with children and families to assess and address their needs, providing support and guidance as required.
- Develop and implement care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including education and health services, to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting children and families.
- Provide advice and signposting to families, as well as offering guidance on accessing local services and resources.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures within the team, ensuring that they are aligned with national policies and guidelines.
- Recognised professional Social Work Qualification (e.g. DipSW, CQSW or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualified social work experience in a similar statutory setting.
- Social Work England registration.
- Ability to work within the framework of The 1989 Children Act, Adoption and Children Act 2002, and other relevant legislations.
- Strong understanding of national policies and guidelines related to children's social care.
