Job Description

**Quantity Surveyor Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Maxim Recruitment. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Project Management**: Take the lead on a range of construction projects, supervising the work of assistants and apprentices in your team and helping them to fulfill their potential.
  • **Client Liaison**: Act as the principal point of contact with project clients and other consultants on the design team.
  • **Service Delivery**: Work independently to ensure the successful delivery of QS/PM/EA services on all projects.
  • **Project Execution**: Act as a Quantity Surveyor on traditional projects or Employer's Agent on Design and Build projects.
  • **Quality Management**: Follow the company Quality Management System in the delivery of all services.
  • **Time Management**: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and develop excellent time management strategies.
Requirements
  • **Experience**: Minimum 3 years' experience in running own projects quantity surveying and/or project management for a Private Practice, Construction Company, or related organization.
  • **Skills**: Proficiency in measurement, ideally using CostX Measurement Software. Experience in running projects independently. Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • **Qualifications**: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management, or a related field.
