About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Maxim Recruitment Ltd. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on a range of construction projects, supervising the work of assistants and apprentices in your team.
  • Act as the principal point of contact with project clients and other consultants on the design team.
  • Work independently, taking responsibility for the successful delivery of QS/PM/EA services on all projects.
  • Act as a Quantity Surveyor on traditional projects or Employer's Agent on Design and Build projects.
  • Follow the company Quality Management System in the delivery of all services.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, developing excellent time management strategies.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in running own projects in quantity surveying and/or project management.
  • Proficiency in measurement, ideally using CostX Measurement Software.
  • Experience in running projects independently.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Driving license and own car; willingness to travel to sites across the UK as required.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management, or a related field.
