About the Role

We are seeking an experienced midwife to join our team as an Induction of Labour Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective arrangements for induction of labour, prioritising admissions and transfers based on personalised care plans.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee the service provision for ongoing and planned induction of labour
  • Manage urgent induction of labour cases
  • Be the patient point of contact for induction of labour arrangements
  • Co-ordinate urgent and elective admissions on a shift-to-shift basis

Requirements

  • RM qualification
  • First degree or equivalent
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development

Desirable Criteria

  • Masters Level Qualification
  • Leadership experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
