The role


We are recruiting for a Planning Manager to work on built environment projects in our consulting division.


This role involves managing the planning and monitoring of projects throughout all stages.


Key responsibilities include developing project plans, programmes and reports, and working with the operations team to develop efficient project methodologies.


Responsibilities



  • Develop project plans, programmes and reports in accordance with Lendlease planning procedures.
  • Work with the project team to develop preconstruction and construction methodologies.
  • Report project progress against contract and delivery programmes.
  • Support the project team in creating and statusing medium and short-range programmes.
  • Produce weekly project dashboards to provide updates on progress and key issues.
  • Act as the project conscience and advise on critical issues and strategy.
  • Chair weekly planning meetings to coordinate project programmes and progress updates.
  • Review change proposals for time impact and record time impacts of delays.
  • Record as-built production rates and delays for benchmarking future projects.
  • Facilitate project team understanding and ownership of the plan and programme.

You will bring


Essential:



  • Good understanding of construction methodology and building technology.
  • Good understanding of pre-construction processes and procurement methods.
  • Appreciation of primary forms of construction contracts and key commercial terms.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ability to produce reports and diagrams to convey proposed sequences and methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of P6.
  • Knowledge of CPA planning techniques and project controls.
  • NEC contract experience.

Desirable:



  • Experience of the specific industry sector to which the project relates.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
