About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled professional to take on the role of Machine Minder at International Procurement & Logistics. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the work area to ensure a safe and clean environment, with all machinery maintained to a high standard.
  • Completing daily machine safety checks in line with SOP's and PPM schedules.
  • Implementing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedure's.
  • Monitoring and recording packs per minute (PPM) on machines, ensuring products are not overweight/underweight.
  • Performing product changeovers with minimal downtime, in a safe and accurate manner.
  • Collaborating with the Packaging Team/ Packaging Coordinator to ensure all labels, packaging, and film are on the line and ready to use in good time.
  • Liaising with and reporting any issues to the Line Leaders and engineers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Adhering to 'World Class' standards at all times.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working within a production and fast-moving environment.
  • Practical skills with strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work quickly and methodically.
  • Understanding of health and safety policies in the workplace.
  • Drive to deliver results and problem-solve.
  • Analytical thinker with attention to detail, while undertaking repetitive tasks.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions.
  • Good level of understanding of the English language.
  • Excellent team working skills with the ability to work on own initiative.
