We are seeking dedicated individuals to join Progress Housing Group Ltd as Emergency Home Responders. This unique opportunity allows you to use your driving skills to provide essential support to older, disabled, and vulnerable individuals who need urgent assistance at home.

As an Emergency Home Responder, your primary task will be to respond quickly to emergencies. You'll assess the situation, provide immediate support, and ensure the well-being of those in need. You'll also offer reassurance and comfort to our customers, making them feel safe and secure in difficult moments.

Working from home, you will be part of a rota of 7 days on call Monday to Sunday. Each shift is 12 hours long. This will include weekends and Bank Holidays. Due to timed attendance targets, it is essential that you live in the Fylde / Wyre area.

What We Offer
  • Comprehensive Training: We provide all the training you need, including First Aid, emergency response, and using specialized lifting equipment. No prior experience? No problem – we'll equip you with the skills to succeed.
  • Flexible Shifts: Work from home and be on call during your allocated 12-hour shifts. Shifts will be nights, including weekends and Bank Holidays. You must live within the Fylde / Wyre area to meet our response time targets.
  • Valuable Experience: This role is perfect for drivers and individuals who want to be part of an essential service and gain experience in emergency response.

Salary Structure

  • £25.58 per 12 hour standby shift
  • Plus £18.00 per callout for the first 90 minutes
  • An additional £12.65 per hour for any callouts over 90 minutes
  • £0.45p per mile car allowance
