About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduler/Planner to join our team at Vector Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of drainage projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Job Pack Preparation: Produce comprehensive job packs, including all necessary health and safety requirements, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Customer Liaison: Proactively communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide timely updates on project progress.
  • Reactive Job Support: Assist with reactive jobs, liaise with operatives, and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Database Management: Monitor and update the database of incoming jobs to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Electronic Document Management: Produce and manage electronic job packs, scan and file processed jobs, and maintain a secure and organized digital record.
  • Planning Support: Collaborate with the planning team to evaluate photos and ensure that all necessary information is captured.
  • Initial Customer Contact: Make initial introductory calls to customers to establish a rapport and provide a positive first impression.
Requirements
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience working in the drainage or construction industry is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively interact with customers, operatives, and internal stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is necessary to ensure that all job packs and documentation are completed correctly.
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in IT systems and software is required to manage electronic job packs and maintain accurate records.
  • Organizational Skills: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines is essential.
  • Time Management: Good timekeeping and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are required.
Working Hours and Pay
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00.
  • Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
