Support Worker Wanted:

We are currently recruiting for a Relief Support Worker to join our team in Lowestoft. The successful candidate will be working in a variety of settings supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

The role will involve providing person-centred support to individuals in their home and community, promoting independence and empowerment through daily living skills and social interaction. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently as part of a supportive team environment and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements and Benefits:
  • Able to provide evidence of relevant experience working with adults with autism and learning disabilities.
  • Able to demonstrate a commitment to the values of United Response and the principles of care and support.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective relationships with service users, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

The salary for this position is £11.75 per hour, with an additional 12.07% holiday entitlement payment, making the total hourly rate £13.16. In addition to the salary package, we offer a range of benefits including holiday discounts, vouchers, and personal and professional development opportunities.
