Job Overview:
The Apprenticeship Skills Trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment services to our apprentices. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a positive impact on our learners' success. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of industry practices, excellent assessment skills, and the ability to use e-portfolio systems effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To support learners on apprenticeship programs to develop and evidence skills and competence.
  • Conduct initial assessments, recruit with integrity, and participate in learner induction.
  • Manage learners through the initial six-week period, confirm or redirect them to appropriate qualifications, and undertake individual reviews.
  • Monitor progress, apply interventions as needed, and provide timely feedback for learner development and success.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
A minimum L3 qualification in the relevant skills area, maths/English Level 2, and extensive relevant industrial experience are essential. The desirable criteria include an Assessor qualification (D32/33/A1), Internal Verification Qualification (D34/V1), negotiating & working with employers & learners, and experience of using learning technologies, e-portfolio.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
