We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at CareTech Community Services Ltd.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
- Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others while respecting appropriate confidentiality.
- Support service users with meal preparation, laundry duties, cleaning, and social events.
- Maintain accurate notes and records as and when required.
- Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Experience in supporting adults with challenging behavior, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Confidence to work alone or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion to work with vulnerable adults.
- Commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding.
