Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at CareTech Community Services Ltd.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
  • Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others while respecting appropriate confidentiality.
  • Support service users with meal preparation, laundry duties, cleaning, and social events.
  • Maintain accurate notes and records as and when required.
  • Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience in supporting adults with challenging behavior, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Confidence to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passion to work with vulnerable adults.
  • Commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding.
