We are seeking an experienced Counsellor to join our team at Nuffield Health, a leading healthcare provider dedicated to building a healthier nation. As an Integrative Counsellor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat individuals with common mental health problems, promoting self-management and recovery.
- Conduct patient-centered consultations to identify areas for change and risk assessment.
- Make informed decisions on referrals, adhering to Nuffield Health protocols, and refer clients to relevant support agencies or GPs when necessary.
- Maintain standards of practice, adhering to Nuffield Health regulations and Department of Health guidelines.
- Ensure confidentiality is protected at all times, following the information governance policy.
- Stay up-to-date with advances in treatment for common mental health problems.
- Keep accurate records of continued professional development and maintain specialist knowledge of latest theoretical and service delivery models.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in counselling or counselling psychology.
- Minimum two years of post-degree experience in counselling.
- Full Accreditation with the BACP or UKCP, or Accredited Professional Status with the NCPS (or COSCA in Scotland).
- Completion of NICE-approved Counselling for Depression training (ideally).
As a Counsellor with Nuffield Health, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including:
- A competitive salary up to £36,000 FTE per annum/pro rata depending on experience.
- A generous CPD allowance and training opportunities.
- Hybrid working arrangements, with a minimum of 22.5 hours and a maximum of 37.5 hours per week.
- A £1,500 Golden Hello (subject to conditions).
