Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Emotional/Behavioural Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, including attachment difficulties and trauma.
  • Act as a role model, setting high expectations and promoting positive relationships with peers.
  • Raise attainment by boosting self-esteem and emotional wellbeing.
  • Help improve barriers to learning and motivate students to stay on task.
  • Develop social skills, emotional regulation, and foster positive relationships with peers.

Requirements:

  • Passionate about helping young people struggling with their mental health.
  • Resilient, open-minded, and knowledgeable about mental health and development.
  • Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling would be ideal for this position.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive daily rate of £80-£90.
