Building Safety and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Asset Management Team as a Building Safety and Compliance Specialist.

About the Role
  1. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory obligations.
  2. Support the Building Safety Lead Manager (BSLM) with building safety initiatives and ensure that all properties are maintained to the highest standards.
  3. Liaise with contractors, surveyors, internal teams, and residents to ensure seamless communication and effective delivery of services.
  4. Assist with key compliance responsibilities, including electrical testing, gas servicing, fire safety, and asbestos management.
  5. Maintain accurate digital building records and assist in developing safety cases for complex buildings.
Requirements
  1. A property-related degree, ideally with a focus on building safety and compliance.
  2. Strong understanding of property maintenance and health and safety regulations, including knowledge of relevant laws and guidelines.
  3. A full UK driving licence and access to a car for frequent site visits.
