Bookkeeper Opportunity

AR Hine Associates is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join their team in Kidlington. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining customer records using Sage and Xero accounting software, prioritizing and organizing your workload, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts
  • Process sales ledger and purchase ledger transactions
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and trial balances
  • Reconcile and process business credit card statements
  • Process monthly journals, including payroll and depreciation
  • Undertake bank reconciliations and maintain fixed asset registers
  • Prepare VAT calculations and returns
  • Run payrolls and process expenses claim forms
Requirements:
  • Methodical and practical approach with high attention to detail
  • Pro-active and flexible attitude to work
  • Team player with a safe pair of hands
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Working Arrangements:

This is a part-time PAYE role, with approximately 20-25 hours per week. Hours can vary to include full-time work. The ideal candidate will be a career-oriented individual who is looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent training and support for career development.
