Build and Lead a Human Capital Strategy

Compass Working Capital is seeking a seasoned human resources leader to develop and execute an equity-focused human capital strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent management, compensation benchmarking, and benefits administration.

About the Position

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Human Resources Officer will oversee all human resources areas, including talent management, employee engagement, and workforce development planning. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills and a strong ability to build and sustain relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead human resources planning and talent development strategy that aligns with Compass' vision and strategic plan.
  • Partner with the Executive Team to ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion are primary in organizational decision making and culture.
  • Oversee total compensation and benefits policies and practices.
  • Design and implement employee engagement strategies and initiatives to strengthen culture and promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Identify and respond to talent gaps to build bench strength for future organizational growth and development.
  • Oversee full life cycle of employee engagement, including hiring and onboarding, performance assessment, succession planning, and offboarding.
  • Design and oversee an approach to professional learning, including leadership and management practices that align with the organization's goals and priorities.
Qualifications

We seek a CHRO with a strong technical background in human resources, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record of building and sustaining relationships. Competitive candidates will demonstrate a strong ability to think strategically and lead organizational change.

  • Experienced Human Resources and Talent Management Leader: The CHRO will have demonstrated expertise in scaling human resources and talent management functions.

  • Adept at Change Management and Continuous Improvement: The CHRO will bring a background of managing organizational change and staff development.

  • Strong Project Manager: The CHRO will be planful, task-oriented, and diligent in overseeing and managing projects.
