About the Role

We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Bank Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social well-being. You will assist with daily living tasks, offer companionship, and help create lasting memories.

Your Responsibilities
  • Support residents with their food and drink, promoting independence and dignity, and encouraging them to maintain their physical abilities.
  • Follow individualized care plans, providing person-centered care that meets the unique needs of each resident, and responding to their changing needs.
  • Provide one-to-one time for each resident, fostering meaningful relationships, and enhancing their overall well-being through activities and conversations.
About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience caring for older people, with a strong understanding of their physical, emotional, and social needs, and the ability to adapt to their changing circumstances.
  • A can-do approach, excellent communication skills, and a warm-hearted attitude that promotes trust and respect, and enables you to build strong relationships with residents and colleagues.
