Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing partnerships with commercial teams to gather product information and assess associated safety risks
  • Maintaining supplier performance records to identify areas of improvement and recognize trustworthy suppliers
  • Creating a comprehensive supplier evaluation process and documenting the rationale behind each supplier's classification
  • Staying informed about internal and external safety standards to pinpoint potential concerns
  • Supporting the development of a risk assessment scoring system and populating it with relevant data for all products and suppliers
  • Working closely with suppliers to secure necessary documentation and samples for timely testing and market release
  • Providing research and documentation support to Branded Evaluation Engineers on new product safety regulations

In this role, you will require:

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate product risk levels based on available data
  • Extensive knowledge of product safety guidelines and regulations
  • Familiarity with current and emerging technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access
  • An understanding of the buying process and its critical stages would be advantageous
