Senior Geologist/Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geologist/Project Manager to join our Environment and Health team in Syracuse, New York. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing existing investigation and remediation projects in Upstate and Downstate New York.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the coordination and execution of field programs, including site characterization, remedial investigation, remediation, and post-remediation monitoring programs.
  • Develop technical documents, such as work plans, remedial investigation reports, remedial action reports, feasibility studies, and post-remediation monitoring reports.
  • Support project management and business development tasks, including scope and budget development, proposal writing, budget/milestone tracking, client presentation, and subcontracting.
  • Train and mentor junior staff, with a focus on contributing to local and regional technical training programs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Approximately 8-12 years of relevant work experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Project management experience and strong technical and client relationship building capabilities.
