We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geologist to join our team at Roux Consulting.
Job Summary
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in geology and project management. As a Senior Geologist, you will be responsible for leading environmental investigation and remediation projects, as well as mentoring and training junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from start to finish, including scheduling, coordination, and budgeting.
- Oversee data collection and review, ensuring that project results are accurate and meet client needs.
- Develop and finalize reports for project principals, documenting findings and recommendations.
- Participate in the development of junior staff, providing guidance and support to help them grow as consultants and leaders.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.Demonstrated project management skills, including experience with scheduling, budgeting, and client invoicing.Advanced data evaluation and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop recommendations.Experience interacting with clients and regulatory agencies, with a strong understanding of environmental regulations and policies.Work Environment
This role will require occasional work in the field, with a focus on leading teams and overseeing project activities. You will also spend time in an office environment, working with senior management and junior staff to develop and implement project plans.
