Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Coordinator to join our team at OBM People. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of stock materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Receive and offload goods, verify materials against documentation, and address any discrepancies or damage using the Clarus Stock Management System for precise tracking.
  • Storage & Safety: Safeguard materials by maintaining organized storage areas in compliance with company standards, ensuring proper identification, segregation, and documentation of dangerous goods.
  • Order Fulfillment: Efficiently process and pack material requests, label, and prepare for transportation to land or quayside locations, or directly to client vessels.
  • Vehicle Operations: Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks on delivery vehicles, using forklifts and lifting equipment in accordance with legislation and company policies.
  • On-Call Duties: Participate in an Out-of-Hours and Weekend Rota to ensure continuous service.
  • Customer Engagement: Deliver goods with professionalism, building strong client relationships and positively representing the company.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain high housekeeping standards in the warehouse, yard, and at customer sites to ensure safe, organized environments.
  • Health & Safety: Promote a proactive HSEQ culture, ensure compliance with all safety procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Team Collaboration: Support colleagues with various duties as needed, contributing to a strong, collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

  • 5-15T Counterbalance Forklift Certification
  • Class C Driver's License
  • Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
  • Spill Response Training

Estimated Salary: $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
