Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Menopause Specialist Nurse to join our team at Fort House Surgery. As a key member of our Women's Health Clinical team, you will provide specialist advice, support, and education to women undergoing the menopause.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise and specialist advice to women experiencing menopausal symptoms, ensuring evidence-based care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, considering physical, emotional, and psychological impacts on quality of life.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to individual needs and concerns.
  • Offer advice on hormonal and non-hormonal treatment options, discussing benefits, risks, and alternatives.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic care for menopausal individuals.
  • Deliver opportunistic health promotion and participate in practice audit as directed.
  • Support and participate in shared learning within the practice.
