Clinical Nurse Specialist for Menopause

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Women's Health team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist advice, support, and education to women undergoing the menopause.
Main Responsibilities- Provide Clinical Expertise: Offer specialist advice and support to women experiencing menopausal-related symptoms, ensuring evidence-based nursing care is maintained.
- Conduct Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, considering the physical, emotional, and psychological impact on their quality of life.
- Develop Care Plans: Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to address the unique needs and concerns of each patient.
- Provide Treatment Options: Provide advice on hormonal and non-hormonal treatment options, discussing benefits, risks, and alternatives with patients.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic care for menopausal individuals, addressing both physical and mental health aspects.
- Deliver Health Promotion: Deliver opportunistic health promotion where appropriate.
- Participate in Service Development: Participate in local initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient care.
- Non-medical prescriber - V300
This is a permanent position, and we offer flexible working arrangements, including full-time, part-time, and compressed hours.
