Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering Excellent Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive a warm and welcoming experience, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
    • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their preferences and tailoring your service to meet their individual needs.
  • Ensuring Efficient Delivery Operations
    • Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring that all products are handled with care and delivered to the correct address.
    • Manage your delivery route efficiently, ensuring that all customers receive their shopping on time and in the correct order.
  • Maintaining a Clean and Safe Working Environment
    • Ensure that all delivery vehicles and equipment are clean and well-maintained, adhering to Tesco's high standards of health and safety.
    • Report any maintenance issues or concerns to your manager promptly.
Requirements
  • Driving Experience
    • A valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
    • Able to adhere to the GB Domestic Driving Rules.
  • Customer Service Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
  • Physical Demands
    • Able to lift and carry heavy loads, with a high level of physical fitness and mobility.
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
