Job Title: Data Center Shift Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Shift Technician to join our team at PRS Recruitment Services. As a Data Center Shift Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing and supervising planned and reactive maintenance activities in collaboration with the building Engineering Supervisor and Shift Leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure routine maintenance is conducted on building plant, equipment, and systems to meet or exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.
  • Respond promptly to Building Management System alarms and undertake emergency repairs as necessary.
  • Develop and utilize required switching schedules, SOPs, and EOPs in accordance with Company policies and Safe System of Work (SSOW).
  • Maintain Evaporative Cooling Systems and domestic water systems to comply with the requirements of the L8 standard.
  • Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments for in-house tasks to ensure adherence to safe working practices.
  • Supervise engineering subcontractors and ensure compliance with contractual commitments and site operating processes.

Requirements:

  • Manual Handling Training is advantageous.
  • Level 3 NVQ in associated discipline.
