We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially aware Sales Manager to join our Dawsondirect business in Stoke.

About the Role:

  • Identify and secure used vehicle and trailer sales to new and existing customers to achieve sales and profit results.
  • Face-to-face meetings with potential customers who do not yet use Dawsongroup.
  • Maintain a high level of truck and trailer utilisation.
  • Achieve sales revenue targets as set.

  • An outgoing personality and the ability to thrive in a high-energy/fast-paced environment.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to spot sales opportunities.
  • Highly organised and able to easily adapt to change.
  • Ability to think on your feet in a conversation and ask and answer questions with ease.
  • A 'never stop learning' mentality and the ability to apply it daily.
  • Excellent planning and organising skills, with the ability to manage your own time.
  • Effective communication, influencing and negotiating skills.
  • A proven track record in sales and business development.
  • All candidates will need to demonstrate that they have the Right to Work in the UK.
  • A clean driving license is highly desirable.
