SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of individual education plans for students with SEND
- Provide support to students in their learning activities, both in group settings and on a one-to-one basis
- Offer assistance with personal care needs as required
- Contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
Requirements:
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Experience working with children or individuals with SEND
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
- Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
- Work within a school environment
- Potential for additional training and development opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
