About The Service

Crosslands, a part of Cardiff Council Substitute Family Care, operates as a Children's Home in the Ely area of Cardiff, dedicated to providing exceptional care for young individuals.

Ty Storrie, also under Cardiff Council Substitute Family Care, serves as a short-stay Children's Home, offering tailored support to families and care for children and young people with disabilities and complex needs.

About the Role

The Domestic Assistant plays a vital role within the team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for both young residents and staff members.

We currently have openings for two Domestic Assistants to become part of our skilled and committed Residential Children's Home teams:

Ty Storrie:

  • Permanent position for a Domestic Assistant with hours that include weekend shifts (Enhanced payment).
  • Shift pattern: Related to the domestic assistant role - hours per day over days, from morning until evening.
  • Location & Type: Tŷ Storrie is a Children's Home catering to children and young people with disabilities and complex needs.

Crosslands:

  • Shift pattern: Related to the domestic assistant role – hours per day over days, from morning until evening.
  • Location & Type: Crosslands is a Children's Home focused on delivering high-quality care to young individuals.
