Foundation Personnel Limited is seeking a skilled Groundworker to join their civil engineering team in Yeovil, Somerset.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Groundworker to work on various civil engineering projects, including drainage, foundations, and other groundworks. The successful candidate will be part of a team working on-site, collaborating with other team members, and following instructions from the site supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general groundworks and civil engineering tasks on site.
- Work in a gang to complete drainage, ducting, kerbing, and foundation work.
- Collaborate with other team members and follow instructions from the site supervisor.
- Operate dumper or roller equipment if certified.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to site safety protocols.
- Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and within project timelines.
Requirements:
- A valid CSCS card is essential.
- Experience in civil works, including drainage, kerbing, and footings.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Previous experience operating plant equipment (dumper/roller) is advantageous.
- Must be able to provide 2 references.
