About the Role

The University of Derby Library is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the delivery of academic services that support the University's strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive academic services operational plan that aligns with the University's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with academic colleagues and students to embed the Library's support for learning, teaching, and academic skills across the University.
  • Manage and deliver successful projects that enhance the student experience and academic outcomes.
  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver user-focussed services that meet the needs of students and academics.
Requirements
  • A Level 6 qualification, such as an undergraduate degree or relevant professional experience.
  • Experience of managing and delivering successful projects in a professional context.
  • Knowledge of regulatory conditions, policy, and practice in Higher Education teaching, learning, and academic skills.
