We're looking for a talented Gameplay Animator to join our team and contribute to the development of our open-world games.
As a Gameplay Animator, you'll work closely with animators and programmers to create, implement, and debug compelling gameplay mechanics.
You'll collaborate with the Animation, Code, and Design teams to achieve balance between animation fidelity and gameplay responsiveness.
Responsibilities include working closely with colleagues under the guidance of a Lead Animator, supporting the planning of motion capture shoots, and directing actors.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Art/Animation or equivalent experience, a demo reel demonstrating strong animation principles, and proficiency in a major animation package.
We're looking for a positive, solution-orientated individual with a deep-rooted interest in video games and game development.
Strong skills in animating the human figure to create realistic character animations are essential, as well as some understanding of development issues in getting animations into a game.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work closely with Artists, Designers, and Programmers are also required.
Desirable skills include practical knowledge of programming languages, practical experience using parametric blend spaces, motion trees, or state machines, and knowledge of commercial game engines.
We encourage ownership and creativity, and successful applicants will be working in a dedicated feature area such as locomotion, traversal, combat, weapons, creatures, or vehicles.
