Gameplay Animator

We are seeking a talented Gameplay Animator to join our team at Rockstar Leeds. As a key member of our animation team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging gameplay mechanics that bring our games to life.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with animators and programmers to design and implement compelling gameplay mechanics.
- Work closely with the Animation, Code, and Design teams to achieve balance between animation fidelity and gameplay responsiveness.
- Support the planning and execution of motion capture shoots and direct actors.
- Develop and maintain high-quality animation systems and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Art/Animation or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in animation principles and implementation in real-time engines.
- Proficiency in major animation packages (e.g. Maya, MotionBuilder, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Practical knowledge of programming languages (Python, C# / C++, etc.).
- Experience with motion capture data and commercial game engines (Unity or Unreal Engine).
- Proficiency with MotionBuilder and parametric blend spaces.
