Employability Tutor for Learners with Special Needs

Morgan Hunt Recruitment is working with a national Charity to find an experienced Employability Tutor for learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a full-time permanent role based in Kingston upon Thames, with a competitive salary of up to £33,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience), rising to £35,000 following successful achievements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging Employability programmes, including Functional Skills, to post-16 learners with SEN.
  • Provide guidance and support to learners to overcome barriers to employment.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the quality team to maintain high standards.
Requirements:
  • Level 5 Teaching qualification or equivalent (the Charity may consider candidates with a Level 3 qualification or no teaching qualification).
  • Experience in teaching learners with SEN.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering Employability programmes or Functional Skills.
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days per week.
