National Defence Programme Developer
We are seeking an experienced National Defence Programme Developer to join our CV-Library team in New Malden. This is a permanent role offering a salary of circa £60,000 - £70,000.
The successful candidate will deliver software design and development expertise for maritime control and instrumentation systems as part of the Control Systems Software team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply Control Systems Engineering techniques to National Defence Programmes
- Develop customer requirements and produce technical design documentation
- Design, test and specify solutions for SCADA Systems and operating systems using RedHat Linux
- Manage data communications with third party equipment
- Develop SCADA software from multiple design formats
Requirements:
- Siemens (ETM) WinCC Open Architecture (OA) development experience
- COTS equipment specification and analysis
- High Level Programming Languages skills within SCADA IDE environments
- Oracle/SQL Database administration and interfacing
- Functional Safety understanding (BS EN 61508, 61511 or 62061)
- Software testing and verification
- RedHat Linux operating system knowledge
