Deputy Care Home Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team at TRC Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing operations within the care home to achieve goals and ensure high-quality care.
  • Oversee care staff and assume full management in the absence of the Home Manager.
  • Train and supervise care staff in all aspects of their work.
  • Conduct pre-admission assessments of residents and ensure care plans and daily records are up-to-date.
  • Foster effective communication with residents' families and other organizations.

Requirements:

  • NMC registered nurse with relevant experience.
  • Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships.
  • Ability to promote ownership of care programs.
