Senior Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our community mental health service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality comprehensive mental health services to individuals with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a defined caseload of clients with complex mental health presentations, providing expert assessment and treatment.
- Work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, including staff, service users, carers, and other statutory and voluntary sector agencies.
- Contribute to the clinical leadership of the team, providing supervision and participating in team and service development.
- Liaise with external agencies, including primary care teams, social services, and housing providers.
- Develop and deliver care packages, including assessing, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Ensure that all interventions have clear outcomes and that these are taken into consideration when sourcing resources to meet individual needs.
- A professional mental health qualification and registration (RMN, BSc/Diploma in OT, SROT, Social Work Degree, or equivalent).
- Substantial experience of managing an extensive and complex caseload of clients with a range of complex mental health presentations.
- Working within a community mental health setting in either the statutory or voluntary sector.
- Providing clinical supervision.
