Adult Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality mental health services to our patients.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a professional mental health qualification and current registration with a professional body. You will have substantial experience of managing a busy caseload of people experiencing a range of mental health problems and be able to work in a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency environment.
You will be responsible for undertaking biopsychosocial assessments, managing risk, and providing clinical supervision. You will also be expected to work within a community mental health setting and participate in user involvement in services.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake biopsychosocial assessments and manage risk, including Safeguarding Adults and Children
- Provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff members
- Work within a community mental health setting and participate in user involvement in services
- Develop and implement care packages, including assessing, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Provide specialist advice to referrers and other multi-disciplinary staff in relation to the care of clients
- Participate in safeguarding children to level 3 as set out in Safeguarding children and young people: roles and competencies for Health Care staff
We are looking for a candidate with a professional mental health qualification and current registration with a professional body. You will have substantial experience of managing a busy caseload of people experiencing a range of mental health problems and be able to work in a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency environment.
You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
